Altai Tavanbogd trekking

Great opportunity to travel in the landscape of eternally snow-capped peaks of the Altai Mountain as much as rivers, streams, lakes and the forest zones and challenge your courage, hiking skill and taking risk of unexpected adventure.

The trekking is especially suitable to those want to face new challenges and different experiences! It is not only a trekking but also time to experience about 10 different ethnic nomadic groups live in the western part of Mongolia.

The Bayan-Ulgii aimag is located in the extreme west of the country, and shares borders with both Russia and China.

The Nairamdal Peak (also Friendship Peak, Chinese: YouyiFeng) of the Altai TavanBogd (five saints mountain) massif mountain marks the corner between the three neighbouring countries. About 2.5 km further south on the Mongolian-Chinese border, the Khüiten Peak is the highest point of Mongolia with 4374 m. The massif includes several glaciers, such as the 19 km Potanin Glacier, and is only accessible to experienced climbers with local guidance.

Our specialist will lead your whole tour.
